This is a woodcut printed on canvas approximately 10 x 15 inches. It was derived from a photo that I took of Jim sometime in the late 1970's. I later made many copies of this portrait—all were printed on the VanderCook proofing press that I had at the time. I then did did a multi-colored assemblage on canvas about 5 x 6 feet. Alas, the canvas was purged in our move to the country.

This has always been one of my favorite images of me, although it bears no resemblance to the me of now. The hat, glasses and beard are all long-gone. You did an incredible job of xylographic printing. I still have the print you gave me. I'd have to search for a bit to find it, but I know I still have it. Excellent work, bro, as always.
Jim aka Crustypiman
Well thank you CrustyPiMan, I always liked this look--to me it is the quintessential "Califonia Dreamin' Jim"
But I do have to take exception to your use of the term Xylographic--which means "the art of engraving on wood, or of printing from such engravings". This print is not an engraving, which is an intaglio process--instead this is a woodcut--printed from the raised surface, a relief printing method. Yes I'm quibbling over semantics--but this is what we do, no?
